Audi A6 Avant e-tron
The new Audi A6 avant e-tron has been caught during testing. This should arrive in mid-2024.
Here's everything you need to know about the A6 Avant e-tron:
- Serves as an electric replacement for the current Audi A6
- Very similar to the concept from years ago
- Most of the technology corresponds to the Audi Q6 e-tron
- Up to a maximum of 700 km range
- Will be available to order from the dealer in mid-2024
The design is very similar to the concept model that was presented a year ago.
The prototype is quite well camouflaged, but if you look closely you can see many design features of the concept. The sleek LED headlights protrude from the package and feature the same split design with the high beams hidden within the lower bumper.
The concept has some large air intakes under the headlights and although they appear somewhat toned down, they have been carried over to the production car.
The A6 e-tron gets Audi's new 'Digital Stage' infotainment system, featuring a curved glass panel with an 11.9-inch digital driver display and a 14.9-inch infotainment system. So that they don't feel left out, the passenger also gets their own 10.9-inch touchscreen.
The Audi A6 Avant e-Tron will share the same battery technology as the sedan, and will also have the same choice of single- and dual-motor drive systems.
Under the floor is a 100 kWh battery that gives the car a range of approximately 700 kilometers. It can also deliver the same 270kW charging speeds as the sedan, meaning you can top up a range of 186 miles in just 10 minutes.
