The Volkswagen ID. 4 and ID. 5 have been updated.
Both models will use Volkswagen's new drivetrains and electric motors. The more powerful electric motors will boost the Pro versions from 204 hp to 286 hp, and as a result, the GTX version will also enjoy an increase from 199 hp to 340 hp.
The infotainment system is also getting an update; the screen is increasing in size from 10 to 12.9 inches. The sliders used to control volume and climate settings are now illuminated.
Additionally, Volkswagen is introducing a new Harman/Kardon audio system and a steering wheel covered in synthetic leather with a new layout.
Charging speeds are also improving for all variants, with the maximum charging capacity increasing to 170 kW. Volkswagen also promises an increased driving range, but specific figures have not yet been disclosed.
