Fast Charging Stations at Quick Restaurants

In an innovative collaboration between the hamburger chain Quick and Electra, a European expert in fast charging stations, at least 23 fast charging stations will be opened at Quick restaurants over the next two years. These fast charging stations have a capacity of 400 kW, suitable for the fastest charging electric vehicles (EVs).

Electra's Expansion Plans

Electra, active in Belgium since the summer of 2022, aims to become the largest provider of fast charging points. The company plans to equip 250 locations in Belgium and Luxembourg with fast chargers by 2025. This ambitious plan includes various collaborations and expansions.

Quick and Electra: A Strategic Partnership

The charging stations at Quick restaurants will be the most visible to the public. For this purpose, a collaboration agreement has been concluded between Burger Brands Belgium, the master franchise of Quick in Belgium and Luxembourg, and Electra. The new fast charging stations will provide up to 400 kW of direct current.

Deployment Phase and Future Plans

In the first deployment phase, the charging stations will be installed at existing Quick restaurants. Electra and Quick plan to open an average of four new charging stations per year, each with at least four and an average of six charging points.

First Fast Charging Station at Quick Namur Champion

The first Electra charging station at Quick will open this summer at Quick Namur Champion. This location marks the start of the broader implementation of fast chargers at Quick restaurants.

Collaboration with Colmar Restaurants

In addition to the collaboration with Quick, Electra is also working with Colmar. By 2025, the six Colmar restaurants in Belgium will also be equipped with Electra fast chargers in their parking lots.

Electra's Growth in Belgium

Electra currently has 47 fast charging stations in Belgium, a number that is expected to grow to 100 by the end of this year. With this expansion, Electra aims to become the largest provider of fast charging stations in the country.
