Sneak Peek: Lancia Ypsilon EV Shines in Milan
In February, the curtain will be lifted on the highly anticipated Lancia Ypsilon, a captivating electric car meant to breathe new life into the brand. However, you don't have to wait until next month to admire this exciting electric vehicle. During commercial shoots in vibrant Milan, the brand-new car was captured in a surprisingly impressive manner.
The current generation of the Ypsilon shares its platform with the Fiat 500, and hatchbacks continue to be highly popular in Italy. As a proud Italian, you can acquire the outgoing Lancia Ypsilon brand new, starting from only 15,700 euros. Although the iconic features of the previous model may not seem very prominent in the new Ypsilon EV, it is clear that the electric variant shares its foundations with the Stellantis family, such as the Opel Corsa Electric and Peugeot e-208. Nevertheless, the brand has done its best to create a unique and perhaps bold design. This is evident, among other things, in the interior, where a striking round table on the center console catches the eye.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that the new Lancia Ypsilon has been in the spotlight. Unfortunately for the brand, the previous encounter with the press was somewhat embarrassing. A prototype ended up in the water, and while car enthusiasts looked on, the Italian EV was carefully lifted out of the canal.
