This wagon will be Volkswagen's very first electric station wagon and will be named "Tourer," in contrast to the usual "Variant" designation associated with models like the Golf and Passat. Volkswagen has always maintained the "Variant" name for their wagons, with the exception of the Arteon Shooting Brake.
As for the cargo space of the ID.7 Tourer, it promises to be quite impressive. With the rear seat up, it offers a generous 545 liters of cargo space, which is more than sufficient for most daily needs. Lowering the rear seat gives you a huge 1,714 liters of space, allowing you to transport even larger loads without a problem.
