Successful Inaugural Edition of Brussels Auto Festival Draws 122,000 Visitors

From Wednesday, January 17, to Sunday, January 21, Brussels Expo hosted the first edition of the Brussels Auto Festival, presented by the organizers as an "alternative car show." The organization is pleased with the success of the event and has already announced a second edition scheduled for January 15 to 19 next year.

Originally, 402 Automotive, the Dutch organizers, intended to organize a traditional car show with the presence of various car brands. However, except for MG and Fisker, all active car brands in the market chose not to participate. This led the Brussels Auto Festival to revert to a proven formula that had previously been successfully applied in the Netherlands. The result was a show filled with tuning, sports and supercars, involving YouTubers and influencers. A diverse range of vehicles filled the six hired palaces, with over 400 vehicles (cars, motorcycles, trucks) spread across 60,000 square meters.

For visitors looking for information on new cars and prices, the Brussels Auto Festival did not prove to be the ideal destination. However, enthusiasts of special cars and tuning could fully enjoy the diverse offering. Over the five show days, a total of 122,000 people visited the event, demonstrating that the festival appealed to a broad audience. The organizers are already looking forward to the next edition, hoping for an even greater success.
