The modern building houses five sites, including Auto Natie Kontich, Auto Natie Wilrijk, Wondercar Kontich, and Wondercar Wilrijk. This location will be the first to bear the name D'Ieteren Mobility Center and will eventually be part of a network of 25 sites of the D'Ieteren Mobility Company.
Sustainability as Central Point
The center is an example of sustainability, with a focus on environmentally friendly practices. It runs primarily on electricity generated by solar panels on the roof and uses heat pumps for heating. The water in the washing facilities is recycled and filtered, and rainwater is collected in tanks.
European First for the Volkswagen Group
The D'Ieteren Mobility Center in Kontich is a first for the Volkswagen Group in Europe. It houses multiple brands of the group, including Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Cupra, Skoda, and commercial vehicles. Despite sharing the location, these brands each retain their own identity.
Workshop and Services
The center's workshop features 32 bays for maintenance and repairs, with the addition of a multi-brand body shop in collaboration with Wondercar. This provides comprehensive service to customers of all brands within the Volkswagen Group.
