Improved Performance and Style of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 2024

Enhancements in Battery and Range

The revamped Hyundai Ioniq 5, along with the new N Line variant, is set to conquer the market starting from March 2024 in South Korea. Belgian car enthusiasts will have to wait a bit longer before they can admire these models in the showroom.

With an enlarged battery of up to 84 kWh, an increase from 77.4 kWh, we can expect an estimated additional range of about 40 kilometers. This could boost the WLTP range of the rear-wheel-drive version to around 550 kilometers. Additionally, there are numerous improvements inside, such as a redesigned steering wheel with interactive pixel lighting and better placement of controls for the infotainment system and air conditioning. A convenient addition is also the ability to remotely fold down the rear seats, making the interior more flexible. Enhancements to body reinforcement and sound insulation contribute to a quieter and more comfortable driving experience.

New Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Line: Sporty Style and Performance

The new Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Line adds a sporty twist to the lineup, with a more aggressive design at both the front and rear, including unique bumpers, side skirts, and special 20-inch wheels. An extended rear spoiler not only contributes to the aesthetics but also solves the problem of a quickly soiled rear window during rainy weather.

Improved Interior: Comfort and Convenience

Inside, usability has been improved with a revised center console, including physical buttons for commonly used functions such as seat heating, heated steering wheel, and parking assistance. The wireless smartphone charging station is now conveniently placed, making it more easily accessible.

Exterior Refinements: Stylish and Aerodynamic

The exterior of the 2024 version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been refined with redesigned V-shaped details and custom front and rear bumpers, resulting in a lower and wider-looking profile. The length of the car has increased by 20 mm to 4,655 mm, while an extended rear spoiler and new aerodynamic wheels provide an even more dynamic appearance and improved aerodynamic performance.
